This is Andrew, and I know it’s been a long time since you’ve all heard from me. I figured I’d shoot out an email to update everyone. So, for those of you who aren’t following us at Facebook.com/wyshproject, there is a new addition coming to the WYSH Project team. I am having my first born son. His name will be Rhett-Franklin James O’Brien and he is due May 2nd. I feel so blessed to have him joining us in this world. If I would’ve succeeded at taking my own life, I wouldn’t have this son and this amazing family that I’ve built in the past year. Also, we will be having a HUGE event May 25th here in Austin. We will be holding a screening event at a local Alamo Drafthouse (which is a movie theatre here in Austin). If you are interested in joining us for this event, please contact me by replying to this post or emailing me at Andrew@wyshproject.org.
Also, there are many more speaking engagements coming up this year. The dates are as follows:
March 27th: Speaking at an Ammunition Depot in McAlister, OK
March 31-April 4th: Speaking at Camp Lejeune, NC. Speaking to Marines and Navy.
April 16th: Speaking to Thorndale High School in Thorndale, Tx
April 16th: Begin screening/ co-hosting a Television show based on Veterans in Killeen, Tx
August 27th: Speaking Engagement + Band Performance with Dimitri’s Rail (https://www.facebook.com/dimitrisrailband) at Fort Sill, OK
September 5th: Speaking Engagement + Band Performance with Dimitri’s Rail (https://www.facebook.com/dimitrisrailband) at TBA (can not release location yet due to contracts).
We also have some overseas bases in other countries looking at us. We can not release the information on who or where until contracts are signed and it is set in stone. I am doing many bases with Dimitri’s Rail because I’ve realized that adding music to my speaking engagements brings even more of a light and enjoyment to my story. Other bases are working with us as well and I will release a newsletter every time a new base or location has added us to come visit them. You can also follow under our events tab on Facebook.
I would love to hear from all of my followers who read this email. Let me know what’s going on in your life or what you think of this project. My email is Andrew@WYSHProject.org.
